At 28DST, we are committed to offering fast, reliable, and flexible delivery options for all our customers. Whether you prefer home delivery or pick-up, we have options that cater to your needs. Below, you’ll find the details on how we handle shipping, delivery, and pick-up options, including weight-based shipping, costs, and expected delivery times.

1. Delivery Options

1.1. Weight-Based Shipping

We use a weight-based shipping method to calculate delivery costs. The shipping fees are determined based on the total weight of the items in your order. This ensures you only pay for the weight of the items you're purchasing, making shipping fair and transparent.


1.2. Pick-Up from Store (Free)

For your convenience, we offer a Pick-Up from Store option at no additional cost. Once you place your order online, you can select the Pick-Up from Store option at checkout, and we'll notify you when your order is ready for collection.

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Sunday and Public Holidays: Closed

After placing your order, we will send you a confirmation email with the expected collection time. Please wait for confirmation that your order is ready before coming to pick it up.

2. How Weight-Based Shipping Works

When you add products to your shopping cart, the system automatically calculates the total weight of your order. The shipping cost will then be displayed at checkout. This method allows us to offer fair pricing based on your specific purchase.

Example of Shipping Rates:

  • 0 - 2 kg: R50
  • 2 - 5 kg: R75
  • 5 - 10 kg: R100
  • 10 kg and above: Custom pricing

Shipping rates may vary based on the delivery location and are subject to change.

3. Delivery Areas

We deliver across South Africa, including major cities and outlying areas. For now, we do not offer international shipping. If you're based outside South Africa and wish to place an order, please contact us for possible arrangements.

4. Estimated Delivery Times

The delivery time depends on your location and the weight of the package:

  • Local Deliveries (major cities): 2-3 business days
  • Outlying Areas and Rural Locations: 5-7 business days

For orders opting for Pick-Up from Store, your order will typically be ready within 1-2 business days, depending on stock availability. You will receive an email or SMS when your order is ready for collection.

5. Order Tracking

After your order is shipped, we will send you a tracking number so you can monitor its progress online. For Pick-Up from Store, you will be notified by email or SMS when your order is ready for collection.

6. Handling Times

Orders placed before 2:00 PM on business days are processed and dispatched the same day, subject to item availability. Orders placed after 2:00 PM, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

For Pick-Up from Store, orders are usually ready within 1-2 business days, and we will notify you once your order is available for collection.

7. Shipping Costs

The final shipping cost will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process based on the weight of your order and delivery destination. Please review all details carefully before completing your purchase.

8. Free Shipping Promotion

Occasionally, we offer free shipping promotions for specific products or orders exceeding a certain total. When applicable, this will be clearly displayed on our website, and the discount will automatically be applied during checkout.

9. Delayed or Lost Packages

If your package has not arrived within the expected delivery time, please contact us with your order number and tracking details. We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
