Clara 80 - 380 Lumen AA Mini Maglite LED Module

Dimmable LED module for AA Incandescent Mini Maglite. 1.0 to3.0V

Twist the head ON & OFF to switch between 80 and 380 Lumens.

This LED module replaces the AA Mini Maglite Switch.

LED Installation:

1. Take off the tail-cap and remove the batteries.
2. Remove the head of the AA Mini Maglite and set aside.
3. Remove the incandescent globe.
4. Remove the part of the AA switch were the globe fits. Use a flat head screw driver to lever the plastic part away from the barrel.
5. Once the top part of the switch has been removed the cylindrical inner part of the switch should slide down the barrel and out where the tail-cap fits. Be careful not to lose the small stainless-steel negative contact.
6. Fit the top part of the switch back onto the cylindrical part and store in a safe place.
7. Take your new LED module and screw the black retainer off the top of the cylindrical unit.
8. Insert the cylindrical part of the LED module into the barrel. Then use the back end of a pencil or Bic pen and, with the LED facing up, gently push the cylindrical LED module to the top of the barrel.
9. Do not add excessive pressure to the pen or pencil when holding the cylindrical part of the LED module in place.
10. Once the LED is proud of the barrel, maintain pressure on the pencil or pen, and screw the black retainer back onto the LED module to secure it in place.
11. Pick up the Head of the AA Maglite, hold upside down (Lens facing the ground).
12. Unscrew the face-cap from the head. Ensure that you do not drop the lens or the O-ring from the face-cap.
13. Remove the reflector.
14. Replace the reflector with the unit that came with your LED upgrade module.
15. Screw the head back onto the face-cap.
16. Screw the head of the AA Maglite back onto the barrel.
17. Insert batteries into your AA Mini Maglite, replace the tail-cap and enjoy.

LED Operation:

To switch between modes, simply twist the head ON for the first mode, twist the head to the OFF position and then ON again to access the next mode.
